A man has been charged after a fatal collision, Bolton.


A man has been charged following a fatal collision in Bolton.

Navnit Tailor (28/09/1949) of Queensgate, Bolton has been charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention.

He has been bailed to appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 5 May 2018.

On Friday 9 October 2017, police were called to reports of a collision between an Audi A4 and a pedestrian on the westbound carriageway of Topp Way.

The pedestrian, 72-year-old Anthony Locke, was taken to hospital where he sadly died from his injuries.

 

Officers are still looking for a red Toyota Aygo and witnesses are encouraged to come forward.
