Help reunite owners with their stolen property

Officers in Stockport are trying to reunite owners with their stolen property.

At 6.45am on Wednesday 21 February 2018, a warrant was executed at a house on Barlow Moor Road, Withington.

The warrant, carried out by officers from the Stockport Burglary Unit, was a result of an investigation into a rise in burglaries in the Heatons area.

A number of items of jewellery were recovered from the address and are believed to be stolen.

Two men aged 21 and 23 have been arrested and charged in connection with the investigation. They remain in custody.

Anyone who recognises the items is encouraged to contact police.

Detective Constable Matt Tarr of GMP’s Stockport Burglary Unit, said: “I’m releasing these images in the hope we can reunite them with the owners.

“If you recognise these items or know who they belong to, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone who recognises the items should contact police on 0161 856 9650 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
