Rachel Avellanet

Have you seen a missing woman from Heywood?

32-year-old Rachel Avellanet was last seen at her home on Hartford Close in Heywood at around 5.45pm this evening (Wednesday 19 September).

Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find her as she may need urgent medical attention.

She is white, around 5ft 6in tall, of medium build with shoulder-length brown hair.

Rachel normally wears a hoody and may be wearing black leggings although a full description of what she’s wearing isn’t known at this time.

Police Inspector Graham Cooke of GMP’s Rochdale Borough, said: “Although it’s only been a couple of hours, it will soon become dark and we don’t know where Rachel is.

“We fear she may need urgent medical attention so if you see her, please call the emergency services immediately so we can make sure she receives whatever help she needs.

“As we are so concerned about her, I’d ask you call 999 so that her sighting is dealt with as a priority.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 999 quoting reference number 1612 of 19/09/18.
