Man charged with Beech Hill firearms discharge

A man has been charged after shots were fired at a house in Beech Hill, Wigan.


Jamie Bailey (17/10/89) of Forest Avenue, Beech Hill has been charged with possession of a firearm less than 30cm in length and possession of a firearm with intent to danger life.


He has also been charged with possession of a Class A drug and will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday 10 March 2018.


On Wednesday 7 March 2018, police received a report of a firearms discharge which had happened at around 4pm on Sunday 4 March in Beech Hill.

Officers attended and found damage to the windows, as well as some damage inside the house.

Although people were inside the address at the time, all managed to escape without injury.
